Located in the city of Bournemouth, the Universitys history began in the early 1970s with the creation of the Bournemouth College of Technology. It functions in 2 campuses: the Talbot Campus located in the centre of the city of Bournemouth and Lansdowne Campus located just outside the town centre. The number of enrollments is around 16,000. The University offers courses in law, business and animation, social sciences and archaeology, tourism and hospitality, finance, technology, corporate and marketing communications, and midwifery.
