I am enjoying my university life a lot. It has been totally new and different experience. Night life is amazing. The lectures are a mission to attend but quite helpful. Exam preparation needs some serious improvement since they have changed the structure from the past papers, which leaves us, first year chemical engineering students, in total confusion!
It was pretty easy to get in to the University however it is kind of challenging to keep up with the high educational standards. I have a UK passport so it I did not need a visa.
My course is really good because it involves a lot practical aspects. Tutorials have been helpful. All the international students doing chemical engineering receive a scholarship. However they have not been helpful in terms of when to collect it.
My campus is amazing. It has a beautiful lake, which is frozen at the moment. My accommodation is catered and ensuite and one of the most expensive one. There a lot of things to do in the city such as cinema, restaurants, bowling, night clubs.
I believe my job prospects have increased.
